4th Grade is halfway over (like literally, January 8th was our 90 day mark – woohoo!) and while we’re making good progress with our school work, I’ve done a terrible job with the blog this year!
I’m hoping to change that. I don’t really make New Year’s Resolutions, but I want to blog more about homeschooling in 2018.
Stay tuned for regular features like “Book of the Week” and “Subject Spotlight”!
But we don’t WANT to leave the house because all our favorite spots are crowded! 😀
Just a small drop in the bucket of reasons why we homeschool. Education is important but we are training up for greater things also – a heart for God and a heart for hurting people!
Why do you homeschool?
We have a loose tooth! I didn’t think this day would ever come (he’s 7 years old!) I got the book Moose’s Loose Tooth for a quarter at the library’s book sale. I’ve been saving it for this occasion! It’s a silly little book but he loves it. We’ve read it two nights in a row now.
So what if it was the 1st day of the 5th week of school before I took our back to school picture?
IHeartNaptime has these ADORABLE back to school printable signs that we use every year. And they just say “I am a ___ grader” instead of “first day of” so I don’t technically have to take the pictures on the 1st day. As long as I get a picture before August is over, I’m happy!
