America’s 250th Birthday is quickly approaching! What an exciting and educational time!
We have always done a semi-year round homeschool schedule and generally start around the 4th of July because there is always so much going on that is educational just because of the very nature of the holiday. It was easy to start off the school year with a field trip to American Village or at a 4th of July themed library event.
So America’s 250th birthday sounds like a great way to kick off a new school year and cultivate a love for history in the process!
